Rental for outdoor events

Cover this event.
Hire what you need.

Extend your existing PA to the places your audience gathers. Start with the site and the dates; size the radio system around the job.

Make the event easier to build

Keep the walkways clear.
Keep the sound close.

Useful for village events, outdoor weddings and larger open sites where running audio to every position creates work and cable crossings.

01

Match the system to the site.

Use the audience areas, distances and obstacles to decide how many positions and relay paths are needed. The biggest kit is not always the right kit.

02

Keep your existing sound setup.

Your sound team provides one line-level desk feed. Receivers connect to your active speakers; discuss speaker power and weather protection in the plan.

03

Leave with a repeatable plan.

Keep the installed positions and measured levels so next year starts with the event you actually built, rather than a blank map.

Event-based quotation

The right scope.
Then the price.

Hire is quoted for your dates and site. Equipment-only rental and any survey, delivery, installation or show support must be specified in the quotation.

01

Tell us about the event.

Dates, location, audience areas, existing PA and the speaker positions you need.

02

Check the layout and radio conditions.

Plan coverage, timing and power. New or complex sites need a walk test.

03

Agree exactly what is included.

Kit quantities, hire period, logistics and any crew support. Availability and booking terms are confirmed in the quote.

Your next event

Start with
the field.

A date and a postcode are enough to begin. Add the size of the audience area and what speakers you already have.

No rental tariff or availability is assumed. This enquiry does not reserve equipment.

Prepare an enquiry to download and share with your sound supplier. No booking is made and nothing is sent automatically.

A few practical answers.

Will it work with the speakers I already own?

FieldKast feeds a line-level input on an active speaker, or on an amplifier feeding a passive speaker. Check connectors and gain structure before the job. Speakers, tripods, speaker power and weather protection are separate from the radio kits.

Does wireless mean no cables at all?

It removes the long audio runs between front of house and the speaker positions. Each position still needs a short audio lead and power. The £20 receiver battery pack powers the receiver, not the loudspeaker. Battery-powered speakers are needed to remove the long mains runs as well.

Can I use it beside a live stage?

It is intended for delay speakers further out, rather than band monitors. Default end-to-end latency is approximately 94 ms, including a 60 ms stream buffer. With a directly fed main PA, positions within roughly 30 m need a different approach. The planner checks the closest alignable distance for the actual settings.

How far can it reach?

The supplied documentation reports at least 250 m in line-of-sight open-grass tests. This is a field-test result, not a guarantee on a crowded site. Keep antennas above head height, coordinate 2.4 GHz use and walk-test the site. Receivers can relay through neighbouring units, up to four hops, subject to reception and timing margin.
